State Department of Public Health spokeswoman Anita Gore said Thursday that the agency's investigation into the hantavirus infections have turned up a total of six people with the virus. The infections spurred park officials to close 90 tent cabins at Curry Village, though Gore said one of the infected people may have been in another area of the park. Over the past three weeks, two people have died of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome after staying in cabins at Curry Village in Yosemite Valley. | |
