Texas woman approved for double arm transplant in Boston Sep 12th 2012, 17:28 Published September 12, 2012 FoxNews.com A woman from Texas has been approved for a double arm transplant. Katy Hayes, 43, of Kingwood, Texas, was scheduled to speak alongside surgeons from Brigham and Women's Hospital during a news conference on Wednesday. Hayes lost her arms and legs two years ago when she was infected with a flesh-eating bacteria after giving birth.
